Routines are proving to be even more important as my young girl grows up. I’m finding with her specifically that when a clear step by step plan is put in place to achieve something, she is more inclined to stick with it and therefore create longer term more positive habits and results.
My daughters skin is changing, pimples are appearing and she is becoming more than aware of these changes. I wanted to help her address these from an early age and establish a regular and thorough skin care routine.
Clearasil is one of those teenage “rite of passage brands” I started as a young girl using Clearasil and happy to introduce my daughter to them as her first range of skin care.
I like that all products can be used together, it’s easy to buy from your local supermarket and most of all the value. Especially as kids can have a tendency to “waste” or over use products, so it’s good to know lots of money isn’t being washed down the drain.
So I introduced Jana Lee to the Clearasil range and got her 4 products that can be used together on a daily basis.
The Clearasil Ultra Gel Wash and the Ultra Rapid Scrub can be used morning and night every day. These are great starter products for your child to understand a daily cleanse and gentle exfoliatant. Both really easy to use in the shower or at the basin with a facecloth – as you can see in video below:
The other two products are to help combat annoying pimples when they appear. The Clearasil Rapid Action Pads and Rapid Action Pimple Cream are perfect for those times and gives your child a product to use and feel like they are tackling the issue.
Obviously a balanced diet, good sleep and plenty of water are crucial to maintaining good, clear healthy skin but it’s also great to know our kids can have an affordable range on hand that helps them take responsibility for their own skin.
Thank you to Clearasil for supporting and sponsoring this blog piece. My daughter and I have enjoyed working with you and your products on this collaboration.
